Prior to his current role, he held multiple leadership positions at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he also founded a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship program. A recognized leader in clinical and translational research, he has served as principal investigator on major NIH-supported networks and chaired key national research initiatives. Dr. Saade has also held prominent leadership roles in professional societies, received numerous prestigious awards—including a Lifetime Achievement Award—and has an extensive publication record with over 600 peer-reviewed articles.
