Growing Clinical Evidence
Supporting Hospital-at-Home Models
A new publication from University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), Netherlands, demonstrated that pregnant women successfully performed 240 clinician-guided ultrasound examinations from home, with excellent usability, high satisfaction, and successful assessment of key fetal parameters.
The authors concluded that tele-ultrasound can support hospital-at-home models by enabling care in diverse locations, supporting clinical decision-making, reducing travel burden, and further decentralizing specialist services.

Expanding Access to Prenatal Care
Israel: Hybrid Care Gains Momentum
Hospital-at-Home programs are rapidly becoming strategic priorities across Israel. Hospitals including Sheba, Beilinson, and Rambam are increasingly investing in care models that extend services beyond hospital walls.
For maternity providers, these programs offer more than operational efficiency. They create continuous engagement throughout pregnancy, strengthening patient relationships and helping hospitals remain the preferred destination for delivery and ongoing care.
Poland: A New Hybrid Care Model
Pregnant women in Poland can now access a hybrid prenatal care pathway that combines clinical excellence with convenience and continuity of care. Congratulations to Cetina and Carepoint for pioneering this important advancement.
